On the day of Saturday, August 1st, 2009, at 1:00 PM, all members of Exiles are welcome to participate in our first Jousting Tournament! The prizes will be 1,000 gold to the winner, 500 gold to the runner-up, and 250 gold to the third place contestant! Entry will be free, and all are welcome to participate and enjoy the battles of wits, bravery, and insanely-fast button mashing!
The rules are as follows:
- All participants will be required to register in this post no later than Noon on Saturday, August 1st, 2009.
- All entries will be limited to one character per account, please. Unfortunately, you must be Level 80 to participate.
- The contests will be a single-elimination bracket, with each contest determined by the best two out of three jousts. The winner will move on to the next round. All entries will be randomly seeded at the start.
- All contests will be decided that day: If you leave early you will forfeit, so be prepared to stay the duration. The first joust will begin promptly at 1:00pm, Saturday.

I've gotten a preliminary bracket setup built, so you can see how it will be run. All new entries will be added, and this will be re-randomized before the tournament starts, so just use it as an example.
